She worked as a research associate at the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www3.imperial.ac.uk\/PersonalRobotics\" target=\"_blank\">Personal Robotics Laboratory<\/a>&nbsp;of Imperial College London, where she participated in the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.aliz-e.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">ALIZ-E EU Project<\/a>. Before that, she worked as a research assistant at Ko\u00e7 University, and has been a member of the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/home.ku.edu.tr\/~cbasdogan\/\" target=\"_blank\">Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory (RML)<\/a>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/iui.ku.edu.tr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Intelligent User Interfaces Laboratory (IUI Lab)<\/a>. In 2011, She was as a visiting researcher at&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tum.de\/en\" target=\"_blank\">Technical University of Munich<\/a>&nbsp;Cluster of Excellence Cognition for Technical Systems (CoTeSys) and worked as part of the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.itr.ei.tum.de\/en\/home\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chair of Information-Oriented Control<\/a>. She was a member of the 3DTV EU Project, where I worked on 3D graphical object representations.<br>Dr. Ayse\u2019s research focus is in human-centered robotics, where she specialises in haptic shared and traded control for physical human-robot interaction (pHRI).
