Welcome to CHIWORK 2023

    CHIWORK 2023 is the annual symposium which aims at contributing to an understanding of how HCI will support work in the future. Advances in computing technology that are rapidly changing the way we work. Human-computer interaction (HCI) is a critical aspect of this ongoing change, as a way to support workers in successfully navigating rapidly changing working environments, which might include novel computing devices, interacting with AI agents, and the changing role of the human in work environments with increasing automation.

    The general chairs Anna Cox and Susanne Boll and a great team of organizers are welcoming you to an exciting symposium in Oldenburg. We are glad that an international team is contributing to the different tracks and events such as the papers, late breaking work, workshop, student consortium. The OFFIS Institute for Information Technology is excited to host this symposium.

    Student Consortium and Workshops, Tuesday June 13, 2023: The Student Consortium Day will allow students to present their ongoing work and discuss it with other students and seniors in the field. Moreover, workshops will be held on this day.

    Main Conference Days, Wednesday and Thursday, June 14 and June 15, 2023: The main conference will take place on Wednesday and Thursday. The program will offer a keynote, the full paper presentations as well as posters and demos. Workshops and Lab Tours, June 16, 2023: Depending on the number of accepted workshops, we will also host workshops on Friday. For those that stay until Friday, we can offer lab tours at the OFFIS Institute for IT.
