CHIWORK is committed to providing a pleasant and accessible experience for everyone joining the symposium. We want to create a welcoming environment and accommodate requests for any special assistance to the best of our ability. If you have any inquiries or requests for assistance, please email accessibility@chiwork.org and we will try to accommodate you as best as we can. We are actively working on making the symposium more accessible and we welcome any feedback or suggestion in this regard from you.

  • How do I communicate accessibility needs to CHIWORK organizers?
    • The Accessibility Chairs for CHIWORK are Alberta Ansah & Nabil Ch, who are available to address your accommodation requests. You can reach out to them directly during the event or any time by emailing accessibility@chiwork.org.
  • Will captions be available?
    • Automatically generated closed captions will be provided during Zoom sessions.
  • Will live sessions be recorded?
    • The first segment of the conversation will be recorded. The recordings will later be posted on the symposium website. The second segment of the conversation will not be recorded.
  • Will the posted videos of conversations have captions?
    • The Accessibility Chairs will prepare captions for the videos of conversations posted on the symposium website.
  • Can someone assist me with my online participation?
    • If you need assistance in participating in the event, please reach out to the accessibility chairs by emailing accessibility@chiwork.org.
  • Can someone assist me if I face problems accessing the event?
